My path to midwifery began with the birth of my first child. I was attended by a CNM and I loved the care that she gave me. I knew there was something special about birth and I wanted to be a part of it. I trained as a Doula through Doulas of North America (DONA), serving families through labor support. While I found this very satisfying, I knew it was not the end of my path. During this time, I was granted a unique path of study at the University of Louisville, and graduated with a BA in creative midwifery. After attending my first homebirth, I knew where I belonged. I immediately began an apprenticeship with a midwife that has seen me into my own practice. I am now primary Midwife, proudly serving women in the Louisville and surrounding areas.
